Covid-19 Protective Measures at #wetechtogether

As of today, only vaccinated, recovered, and negatively tested people with a valid covid certificate will be admitted to the #wetechtogether conference 2021. As per the Swiss Federal Council, certificates are valid for visitors above the age of 16, and not required for those younger. Along with their certificate, each attendee has to present a valid official ID (identification card, passport, etc.) at the entrance. No data will be stored when checking the validity of certificates. More information about the covid certificate can be found here.
Validity of Covid Certificates
Only certificates compliant with the federal ordinance on covid certificates (SR 818.102.2) are admissible.
For vaccinated people
The certificate is valid for 365 days, starting from the date of the second vaccine dose. Certificates are granted for all those who were vaccinated with a vaccine authorized by the WHO (Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Janssen, Oxford/AstraZeneca, Covishield, Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV and Sinovac CoronaVac) who are in possession of an official confirmation of vaccination. This is also valid if the vaccine in question has not been authorized for use in Switzerland (e.g. AstraZeneca).

For previously infected people
The certificate is valid for 180 days, starting from the 11th day after a positive PCR test result.
For negatively tested people
For PCR-tests, the certificate is valid for 72 hours, starting from the time at which the sample was taken.
For authorized rapid antigen tests, the certificate is valid for 48 hours, starting from the time at which the sample was taken.
There are no testing facilities on site. We will only admit attendees with a certified negative test result that is valid until Saturday, 2nd of October, 6pm. Find a testing facility near you here.
Important: No certificates are issued for self test kits or antibody tests.
The exact details of the protective measures will be defined on the basis of the regulation issued by the federal office of public health and the cantonal authorities. The latest status will be published on this website.
We follow all Swiss public health regulations and are commited to making the conference a safe event for all attendees. Please note that the cancellation policy as outlined on Eventbrite. In case we have to postpone the conference, the tickets will be valid for the new date and cancellation policy will remain.
