Knowledge Session I: Digital Twin, NFC Technology and Blockchain
Description
Imagine if you could connect your physical products with the digital world and have them forever safe on the blockchain? That is what we do at collectID. We connect physical products and create their digital twin through the use of NFC technology. The NFC tag is integrated on the physical product and with a simple smartphone scan you can unlock the NFT of your product and use it in the metaverse. This allows customers to have the digital version of their products and ensure products are authentic. At the same time, it allows brands a direct marketing channel and the acquisition of first-party data about their customers. At collectID we are turning products into a communication channel and bridging the gap between the physical and the digital worlds.

The magic formula to become a leader in Consultancy, IT and Salesforce
Envision yourself as a leader and learn what it is (spoiler alert you are already one), discover the various roles in Consultancy and discover what Salesforce Ecosystem and Salesforce are.
Description
The workshop is set in two parts that can be taken independently or together. It is designed to hopefully be fun – at least not your standard workshop – to learn something and do something. We want you to leave each workshop feeling empowered and motivated to pursue your long-term goal with helpful tips and tools.
In the morning we will discover together what a leader is and what a leader is in the digital world as well. We will explore which skills it has and how to become one. And we will even project ourselves in a leader position and figure out how it feels. Take yourself as you are and your mobile phone.
In the afternoon, we will discover Salesforce Ecosystem, touch base on who is Salesforce of course and which roles are available in Consultancy. You will see that you do not always need to be very technical to be a great consultant and we will show you how to start learning skills by yourself, for free. Have your mobile with you and if you can take a tablet (iPad for instance) or a computer with you, it will be more convenient than a small screen.

Hacks how to stop sabotaging your personal growth
An interactive session to gain a clearer understanding of our inner saboteur voices and learn strategies to deal with them!
Description
Have you ever felt that your goals were impossible to reach, while others seem to fly through lives ticking off items on their bucket lists? You want to reach the next step on the career ladder, find more balance between your private and professional life, change career paths, work towards your purpose, cycle all five continents, but at the end of the day these objectives seem too far outside of your comfort zone? Think back to a situation, where you felt like you were not good enough, or not smart enough or not tough enough to take the next step – was the problem really the size of your goals or could it have been your mindset?
We tend to sabotage our personal growth with negative thoughts that are often not warranted. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of our “saboteurs” – our inner voices telling us that we are less than we are. At the end of the workshop, you will have a clearer understanding of your personal saboteurs and learn strategies how to deal with them when your thoughts are spinning out of control. You will learn from each other’s experience – because we all have saboteurs, even the most successful of us.
This workshop is hands-on and suited for all experience levels. You only need to bring yourself as well as an open mindset.

AI models for your purpose
Level: intermediate/advanced
Required skills: Python (intermediate), ML knowledge(intermediate), NLP (beginner)
Bring your own laptop!
Description
AI models become larger and larger every year. Over the last four years, AI model parameters increased more than 1000 times, starting with 2018 BERT with 110 million parameters to GPT-3 in 2020 with 175 billion parameters. As a result, models became more accurate, faster, and more expensive. For example, to train GPT-3 in the cloud could cost you up to 12 million dollars.
Question: How can we use these models with a small budget for our benefits?
Answer: Participate in this hands-on workshop, and you will learn:
- How to use a large AI model for your specific task
- How to track the progress of your machine learning experiment
- How to deploy this model in the cloud

Applying ethical requirements on an AI-solution in practice
An interactive workshop for Tech and Non-Tech participants with a phone and (optionally) a laptop.
Description
In the light of recent growth of AI-based solutions in various fields, more and more attention is paid to their ethical and legal aspects. Regulatory documents are imposing demands to ensure AI trustworthiness.
However, defining clear approaches, general on one hand and specific on the other, is a tricky task. In this workshop we will attempt to connect the dots between the ethical and legal perspective and the engineering one. First, we will introduce the current key guidances to AI systems. Second, we will try to implement them on a toy example while building an AI model on the publicly available data. We will conclude with the open discussion on the possible caveats we may encounter.
A mobile phone and a laptop will add to the full experience of the workshop.

Hands-on React experience within Agile team
Build and release your react app following best Agile practices. This is a participatory workshop- bring your own laptop with you!
Description
We love conferences, as it’s the best place to learn new exciting things and meet bright people. And our workshop will help you out!
Together we’ll build a simple thematic application to support networking during WeTech Together 2022. For this we will use React, which is a great opportunity for you to dive into the most popular tool for frontend development in modern IT world. We will split into groups, each with a dedicated component to build, which are to be sewed together in the end and finally released – just like in a real Agile IT life🙂
We will deploy our creature on Platform.sh, popular PaaS for managing cloud infrastructure – which will be nice and easy, giving you a full picture of not just project release process, but of how painless this can be!
Application will allow all attendees to share information about themselves, what they are up to and which activity they’d like to share during conference: are you looking for a piece of advice about which technology to choose in your career? – Post it! Wanna share a story about your future-unicorn startup over a cup of coffee? – Please tell us! We hope you’ll connect with lots of likeminded people with its help.
Sounds interesting? Then go ahead and join us!
Bring your own laptop with any IDE you fancy, ideally with Git and Node.js installed. But in any case we’ll be here to help with a setup 20 minutes in advance.

Save it or Waste it! The Sustainability also Applies to Finance
Description
More and more financial institutions declare that they are investing sustainably – but have you ever wondered what does it mean in practice? Which data could be used for this purpose? How to estimate and measure sustainability indicators and quantify a sustainability impact of a company? How to do it in a reproducible, transparent way, which is also meaningful for investors? Which regulatory constraints are there? And given the number of available companies, how to scale the chosen approach and communicate the results to people making the actual decisions?
In this interactive workshop, we will address the importance of data collection and verification in the context of sustainable investing in financial institutions.
First, we discuss the regulatory background and challenges in data acquisition in the impact and consequences on companies Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Then we will show how data scientific methods, processes, algorithms can help to extract knowledge and insights from data.
Through short practical exercises and fun games, you will get a good overview on how to use and apply visual analytics to the data, which can help you to identify patterns in the data and thereby develop actionable insights. The workshop doesn’t require to have experience in finances or coding skills.

How do I become an «Agile Leader » – a workshop with a change of perspective
Understand which aspects of today’s (classical) manager are still needed as agile leader and which skills have to be re-learned.
Description
With the pursuit of agility, companies require that executives develop into “agile leaders”. What does that mean exactly?
The current working world is characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (also known as “VUCA world”). Today’s (classical) managers are constantly faced with new challenges to solve problems and reduce conflicts. For a development towards an “agile leader”, however, value-adding behavior along a defined purpose is required, which activates the collective intelligence of the employees.
In this workshop we want to explore the topic with a playful change of perspectives. Together with the participants, we work out which behavioral changes are necessary to enable this mindset shift.

Let’s design a customer journey in cloud services
Exciting mix of what a cloud service consists of (introduction in the topic) and what it means for a salesperson (interactive part).
Description
In the digital age, more and more buildings are connected with the cloud. What does cloud connectivity actually mean for buildings? We will have a closer look at Siemens’ building management software, that used to run on a server located in the building, but today, customers want to see the offering in the cloud.
The focus in this workshop is on the salesperson of such cloud services and its perspective: how was it to sell software before and after the software is moved to the cloud? And what are the consequences for the salesperson?
We will first give an overview of cloud services for building technology, then describe the sales persona and its challenges in terms of cultural change and finalize the workshop by creating a customer journey for the salesperson.
You don’t need any experience or equipment for this workshop.
