More and more companies are offering Mentorship programs to support thee career of their employees. The exchange with more experienced employees and managers helps the mentees to learn on the job and advance their careers. Another option for employees to climb the career ladder within the company are sponsorship programs.
Mentorship as well as Sponsorship programs are also put in place to help increase diversity in teams. But does that really work? And how are these programs different?
